Island Psychiatry is pleased to announce our new Charity Referral Program

In service of our ongoing mission to improve the overall state of mental health on Long Island and beyond we're implementing a new way to give back.

​

How does it work?

​

Each time a new patient is referred to Island Psychiatry, a donation will be made in the referrer's name* as a thank you for helping us continue to provide quality care. The fun part? The referrer picks the charity of their choice from a list we curated.

Which charities are involved?

​

Our team sifted through dozens of wonderful organizations that are contributing to mental health welfare in our communities. The six we chose all have excellent ratings on Charity Navigator:

• American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
  Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance

• International OCD Foundation

• Mental Health America

• NAMI - National Alliance on Mental Illness

• National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse

• Organization for Autism Research
